I’ve finished editing and I have been working on the covers for The Witches of Griffin series. I have over a dozen different covers for each book now and I still wasn’t happy with them. I like to get feedback from my grown children and my son suggested I try Discord’s, Midjourney Bot to design my covers. After many prompts, I finally was able to get the AI Art generator to make some great book covers. It even created the demon I imagined in my story, except it gave the creature an extra leg and red eyes.

Here are a few pics the AI Art generator made for me. Some of the people in the pics are misshaped and some don’t fit the modern timeframe. The Midjourney generator makes a block of four pics and then you can ask it to generate the same picture in a different way to get alternatives or to upscale a pic. The free trial allowed me to create many. These are some of the ones I have in my computer.

I used a prompt to create a portal for Securing Sanctuary. The pic below was created in 60 seconds. Although I didn’t use any of the pics in this creation, I love the way they look and I can now use them for a future project.

It took some tweaking on Pixelmator to get the book covers to look how I want, but after three years of work looking for the perfect pics to represent the stories, I’m happy with them.

Now I need to get them to the interiors formatted and work on back cover blurbs. I look forward to releasing this series as it is one of my favorites.
