Riding the High Winds of Scandal…
The Earl of Talon seeks to obliterate Lord Giles Vanhorn’s reputation. Seeing only one alternative to save his good name, Giles heads to London to put wagging tongues to rest. What he doesn’t expect is to be heralded by the ladies in London for the scandal he created. Or to be propositioned by the kind-hearted, charitable Lady Avis Rosse to participate in an auction, the prize, three hours of his company for some lucky young lady.
A Threatening Reveal…
Secretly engaged and then not engaged to Lord Talon, Avis Rosse has entered her third Season to find him a scoundrel of the worst sort. Being seated next to Lord Giles Vanhorn at a dinner party, Avis realizes that Giles holds the answers to her questions about Talon’s betrayal, questions she dared not ask another due to their defamatory nature.
A Herculean Effort…
Trying to understand the reasons behind Lord Talon’s unrelenting assault upon his character, Giles finds himself drawn to Avis. To win her favor, he goes to extreme measures in his courtship by incorporating Avis’ love for Greek mythology. He decides there’s no better way to win a young lady’s heart than by performing heroic feats. Unfortunately, Lord Talon’s plan for Giles’ future will include kidnapping his beloved Avis.
