What I’m Currently Working On

During the winter of 2023, I finished the rough draft of my new Time Travel book, Timestream

Here’s the blurb:

In a world where corruption and propaganda reign supreme, Harper Knight is thrust into a multiverse to reverse dystopia. The oppressive government, armed with the sinister Voice of God Tech, has ensnared humanity in encampments of despair. Determined to unravel the malevolent grip of the authoritarian regime, Harper embarks on a daring journey through time and space with the help of her steadfast best friend.

The catalyst for Harper’s quest lies in the mysterious disappearance of her mother, who ventured into the timestream to thwart the implementation of the nefarious technology that triggered the collapse of societies. From the treacherous landscape of the 21st century to the mythical Hanging Gardens of Babylon, Harper’s odyssey unfolds with gripping intensity. Her mission takes an unexpected turn when she traverses the in-between, encountering a long-lost relative from another facet of the multiverse.

As Harper battles for freedom, she becomes the target of relentless Time Travel Bureau Agents, hell-bent on erasing anyone challenging their stranglehold on power. Chased through the corridors of time, she must navigate perilous landscapes, outsmart her pursuers, and gather allies from different eras to stand against the oppressive forces.

Harper’s quest isn’t just a race against time—it’s a struggle for the very essence of humanity. The clock ticks relentlessly as she strives to rescue her mother and liberate a suffering populace. In a narrative brimming with intrigue, suspense, and unexpected alliances, Harper Knight and her best friend, Lark, must unravel the threads of time to forge a new destiny for humankind. Will they emerge triumphant, or will the Voice of God Tech plunge all of existence into an eternal abyss? The fate of the multiverse hangs in the balance, and Harper’s journey is a thrilling, heart-pounding adventure through the corridors of time.

Originally, I hadn’t planned to make this book into a series, but my imagination says otherwise, and I have a rough idea for book two, working title Cosmic Retrieval, which will be a type of space odyssey.

I’ve been busy editing, which is always ongoing. I’m also creating ads, promoting on social media sites, trying to fix my Google acknowledgment page without screaming at the computer, and getting the Witches of Griffin series ready for publication. I started the first book in this three-part series in 2015. I’m excited to bring them to market, but I’m still working on book cover illustrations and advertising.

Many of my old book covers have been redone.

This spring, my father celebrated his 75th birthday, and my brother and I dressed in 50s attire. I watched several YouTube videos to get my hair right, but it turned out well.

Now that it’s summertime, I’m enjoying the outdoors. My garden is growing better than ever, and I’m harvesting zucchini, yellow squash, and peppers. The size of my zucchini and yellow squash put the store-bought ones to shame, although the small ones are more tender. My tomatoes have tons of flowers and stand about three feet. I grew everything from seeds I germinated indoors. I’m happy with the results. I will say that no matter how many times I try to get sunflower seeds to work, they never germinate. Fussy seeds! I have quite a few white pumpkins coming in, which I’ve never grown before. We shall see how that goes since pumpkins often have fungal issues later in the season. I also have a persistent chipmunk that likes to dig in my pots. I’ve blocked him in every way I can think of, the crafty bugger.

On the spiritual front, I attended a Demonstration of Trance Healing Mediumship with Psychic surgeon Chris Ratter from Scotland. Although I found it interesting and similar to Reiki, I wasn’t a participant, so I can’t gauge its efficacy.

I’ve been listening to podcasts and interviews of Billy Carson and Terrance Howard. I believe both are on the right path regarding hidden truths, although they are likely not one hundred percent correct in all their conclusion, as humans are fallible. Regardless, many will attack them for their deductions, although with research, I connected many of the same dots. Independent thinking is essential during the age of informational warfare. We’ve been lied to for thousands of years; I can only hope it won’t take as long for truths to be unveiled. I’m all for changing the world to move in a more positive direction. On Thursday last week, I went to the Rocket Mortgage Classic. The weather was great, but the event was better last year. This year, there was very little food selection and no music, perhaps one of the reasons the crowd was smaller.
